„Viva la Vida“. Roger shares his exciting stories about climbing in South America and his second home of choice, El Chalten, in Patagonia.

I’ve been travelling to Patagonia, my second home of choice, for many years. Endless adventures and exciting stories about mountaineering in faraway South America. The beauty of these mountains fascinates me again and again. I was able to fulfill a life’s dream of mine by summiting all of the peaks in the Fitz Roy Group and with successfully paragliding from the summit of the famous Cerro Torre in 2021.

Some more of my successful climbs in Patagonia are the Cerro Torre Triology and first ascents on Poincenot and Aguja Guillaume. A presentation with lots of alpine history and experiences I put my heart and soul into.
